The NGO Mallorca Sense Fam and Arabella Hotels and Investments join forces against hunger in Mallorca

-The mission of the NGO is to help those most in need with food delivery and improve the quality of life of people who lack resources

- The business group supports the project with the delivery of a check for € 5,000

Palma, July 9, 2020 - In response to the poverty that the crisis has generated and continues to generate, Arabella Hotels and Investments and Mallorca Sense Fam have joined forces to help the most vulnerable and cover their basic needs in food and hygiene. For this, the subsidiary of the Schörghuber Group and owner of emblematic establishments in Mallorca, such as the Castillo Hotel Son Vida, has delivered a check for € 5,000 to Mallorca Sense Fam. The NGO will allocate its amount to the purchase of food, packaging and fresh, for distribution to the neediest families as it has been doing since 2009. Highlight the line of infant feeding from 0 to 24 months created in 2014.

Mallorca Sense Fam directly and through entities and assistance centers helped 4,739 families in 2019, so the aid reached 11,453 people. Joan Martorell, Vice President of Mallorca Sense Fam: "Mallorca Sense Fam, since its creation in 2009, faithfully follows the

statutory principles of helping those most in need with the delivery of food and personal hygiene and household cleaning items, developing each year a new project, highlighting the last two, the "Solidarity Shop" and the "Solidarity Help" service in Food at Home "for all those older people who cannot travel to collect food, every fortnight they receive at their homes the provision of packaged and fresh food. Note that the work of all the volunteers that make up Mallorca Sense Fam, is essential for the success of the project. "
